Set Tax Rate Calculate Discount Deduct Tax from total Memory Options |
| This calculator operates as any other calculator, with the added benefit of calculating a sales tax and total cost for a purchase and at the same time rounding the result to two decimal places for use with currency calculations. |

Basic Operation: The value in the top field is where the values entered or calculated are shown, just like any other calculator. As we enter or calculate values, the TAX and TOTAL will be automatically calculated at the same time using the rate in “TAX”. For a TAX rate of 8.25%, enter $25, the corresponding TAX is $2.06, and the total ($25 + $2.06) is $27.06. |

How to change the tax rate: Press the “Menu” key in the phone, select “Settings”, and “Set Tax % Rate”. |
| Enter the new tax rate as a percentage (Example: enter “6.5” for 6.5%). You will be given a message saying the tax rate has been changed and the new rate will be displayed in the screen. |

How to Calculate Discounts Enter or calculate the cost, press the “%OFF” button and select the discount amount from the list. Discounts are listed in increments of 5% up to 95%. |

How to find a cost without TAX Enter the total amount including TAX and press "-TAX". The amount you entered will be displayed in the TOTAL field, the cost without tax at the top and the TAX in the tax field. If you need to divide, multiply or do something with the TOTAL value (cost + Tax), press the TOTAL value and it will be placed in the top field. Now we can divide it or do something else with it. Memory: Add number displayed to memory using M+. To recall memory press MR. When recalling memory the button will change to MC, press it to clear the memory. Press any other button to change from MC back to MR. Settings Change Colors: In Settings change color of background, buttons and text to fit your personality :-) NOTE: If you make the background and text color the same you will not be able to read the TAX and TOTAL labels. To modify the “TAX” name in the screen to read something else (VAT, TIP, IVA), press the “Menu” key on the phone, select “Settings” and “Change Tax Label”. Enter the new label (6 characters maximum) and press OK. |
